 The Realtor / Client Relationship

Realtors® perform a variety of services for their clients.

Being a client means you have made a connection with your Realtor® and have an expectation that your needs will be met. As a buyer, those needs include searching, seeing, and acquiring a property that suits you, with representation through the entire process.  As a seller, you can expect your property to be visible in the marketplace through a variety of advertising mediums and strategies, and for your interests as a seller to be represented with clarity to potential buyers and their representative agents all the way through.

A Realtor's® expectation includes the exclusive right to represent your interests for the purchase or sale of your property in a particular market.  It is important that Realtors® and clients understand each other's expectations and honor each other as they work together and wade or march through the process.  In contrast, a customer relationship is far more casual and does not imply these confidences or allow for a special concentrated approach.

If you have questions about the Realtor®/client relationship, please contact me for a consultation.
